My mother was a good listener. She had an openness about her and a come-hither smile that attracted people. She'd get on a bus or a train, and strangers would tell her their life stories.
This was before smart phones and hashtags and everyone had a good time talking and listening and enjoying mutual respect.
Our life is our story and every person has one. Some of us are meant to write about them—or create them.
When you visit my articles pages you will find an eclectic collection of memoirs and commentaries from spiritual to political. Most of these stories have been published elsewhere, and many are based on personal experience. I hope you will enjoy reading them and maybe get something of value from them.
When I lived in Japan I knew some day I would write about it. The fiction page is a summary of my novel, “The Sword & The Chrysanthemum, Journey of The Heart.” I am currently working on my second novel.
